Highly individual quirky studio top floor flat. A lot of facilities ingeniously packed into this space. Despite this there was still plenty of space to move around in the main living area and bathroom. Everything here that we could have wanted for a cosy 2 night stay.

This apartment is truly wonderful. Very clean and very well equipped The views from the lounge kitchen dining area and bedrooms are magical. The whole apartment is very spacious and tastefully dressed. Our bed is extremely comfortable. What more could we wish for… Thank you Paul and Brooke and for the lovely wine you left us. An ideal location for Dartmouth Town. The appartment is very clean and comfortable. The inclusive breakfast at Alf Fresco is a wonderful addition.

Great place close to main town

Your Devon Escape have been looking after Holly Cottage for a year now, and what a difference a year makes...Paul and his team are lovely to deal with and are genuinely passionate about South Hams and the surrounding area - their local knowledge is invaluable. We know that a guest will be treated as we would want them to be when they book through YDE and the fact that the team are just round the corner to step in if necessary is a real asset. Thank you.

We enjoyed our stay so much and were sad to leave. These accommodations were perfect in every way: the view was stunning, the apartment was tidy, spotlessly clean and furnished to the highest standard. We loved everything about staying at Tremorvah. And Dartmouth will always have our heart. Most of all, communication with Paul @ Your Devon Escape was always prompt, efficient, professional and informative every time I asked a question. He was always so kind in his responses! I hope we can return some day.

This was a fabulous place to stay, very clean, comfortable and modern with wonderful views on and across the river. It was also a great location, very peaceful but only a short walk down into the town.

Our first Airbnb experience and it didn’t disappoint! A lovely cozy space. The setting was beautiful and the hosts friendly and helpful! It’s rural setting was central to a lot of most see places and this part of Devon.

We had a great experience with Your Devon Escape. The original property we booked turned out to be unsuitable. The team member we spoke to was extremely kind and helpful. The team managed to to relocate us to another property in the town. The new property was delightful. We are very happy. We cannot recommend Your Devon Escape highly enough.

It’s been a pleasure to work with all the team at YDE to run our cabin in the woods near Dartmouth. Paul is very helpful and has been brilliant at communicating both with us and our guests. A fabulous last minute find. Perfectly quiet, well equipped, spacious and comfortable for our short break. The only thing I would criticise is the lack of specific recycling instruction. It felt uncomfortable not to have the ability to handle refuse 'correctly'

We’ve had a lovely week! An adorable bolt hole. The decor is lovely , the bed comfortable , and the views across the field and valley were just the ticket ! We had some rain but honestly it was lovely being all cozy whilst the heavens opened outside. Paul was super responsive and friendly. I would 100% recommend .

We had a lovely few days, celebrating a friend's birthday. It was great to have a parking space and to be in walking distance of all that Dartmouth has to offer. Being slightly out of town does mean it is very quiet and we all slept really well. The house is very comfortable and tastefully decorated, with good beds, three bathrooms and lots of good seating in the lounge and dining area. The kitchen is very well equipped - we loved the huge fridge and freezer and it's great to have the utility room with a hanging rail for coats and wet gear. The top deck has superb views over to the river and is equipped with great garden furniture. Paul was very responsive and helpful with any questions we had beforehand.

Had a lovely stay here in Totnes! The location of the property is just fantastic, on the doorstep of the town centre with lots of food, drink & shopping options so everything was walkable and we loved using the place as a base to explore the South Devon coastline. Paul's instructions for check-in were really clear and there were lots of helpful pointers such as parking tips and restaurant recommendations. The space itself had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, would happily recommend to others

The host Mr. Paul was amazing, helpful and kind. The bed is very comfortable and the bathroom is very clean. Small living room but it was ok. The location is very good because you are in the middle between the harbour and mans sand. Recommended for short stays.

We booked Paul's appartment as accomodation while walking some of the SW Coast Path. It made a perfect base for our stay, and Paul was proactive and responsive throughout.

Super week away. Loverly secluded location with nice outdoor area to sit and chill amongst the trees.

Really nice property situated just moments from Fore Street and the river. Lots of places to eat and drink nearby including an excellent Japanese restaurant, Taguchi-Ya, just around the corner. Will come again. Thanks.

An Exquisite Time I cannot recommend enough the ancient port town of Dartmouth and its surrounding area, for a picturesque getaway. You are living in a photograph here, from its boutique marina and its easygoing cliffside walks to its beautifully kept winding streets and exemplary seafood outlets. This is an experience one should never miss, right here in Devon. And at the heart of this small town, a street back from the harbour, sits Al Frescos cafe and B&B. Let me tell you, this place is renowned district-wide for its quality, which is evident in the service offered by the polite, helpful and friendly cafe staff, and for its B&B rooms. Our room for 2 singles was compact yet uncluttered, so we had no problem using the space. Its interior design was nautically inspired and seamless with our experience of the aesthetically maintained Dartmouth, our ferry excursion to Totness and our visit to the excellent Rockfish restaurant. Aces to Paul for that. After a great sleep in its comfortable beds the icing on the cake was the incredible free breakfast and brunch menu offered by the Al Frescos restaurant below, available from 7 til 2. All I can do is say; go, experience, explore, eat, enjoy. You wont regret a trip here.

The lodge was really clean and well equipped, beds and pillows very comfortable. Host really responsive, lovely break.

This apartment is outstanding. It's very well fitted out with top of the range appliances. The location is superb with river views from every window including a lovely outdoor seating area with breathtaking views. Beds are very comfortable and the welcome bottle of wine was a lovely touch. Would highly recommend and will definitely be booking again.

Great place to stay. Excellent location and has everything you need. Lovely extras on arrival such as coffee, bread, milk, Prosecco and cake. Very well organised. Would recommend.

The views of the river afforded by the location are what really sells this property. The property itself is fantastic, with an open plan, kitchen, dining and living area with comfortable modern high quality furnishings throughout. Bedrooms and bathrooms are also to a high standard. Access to the property is via some steep steps and you need to consider the parking limitations in Dartmouth and co-ordinate your group to ease your arrival. We used the space to accommodate a group of 10 adults for a weekend of birthday celebrations and it worked perfectly without ever feeling crowded. There are a number of areas to spread into enabling relaxation in quieter moments. Overall a lovely place to stay.

The whole experience was 1st class start to finish, everyone in our party had an amazing time and want to return. The quality was obvious from the moment we arrived and the atmosphere was fantastic. The views of the river were the perfect backdrop to the beautiful property where we had everything we needed and more. Excellent.

A great and very well-equipped accommodation in the middle of nature. We really enjoyed the peace and quiet and didn't miss anything. It was especially nice to have breakfast in the countryside and be greeted by the cows.

We had a lovely stay in Dartmouth. Communication was great, the flat was spotless and well located - only a few minutes’ walk from the centre, and the beds were very comfortable. We loved the views from the bedrooms and living space and would return in a heartbeat.

Amazing place to stay with super hosts. We were a family of 4 adults and two children. Communications were all great and helped provide useful local information. The house was very well kept to a high standard and cleanly came across as caring about our stay. Views from the house are superb. Hopefully we’ll get to stay again in the future

we stayed at the cottage on the beach at Torcross, fantastic house with everything you need for an enjoyable stay, couldn't be any closer to the sea. lost a few hours just staring out at the coast watching the waves. lovely beach and gorgeous locations scattered around us. Dog friendly location. worth getting up early in the morning to watch the sunrise, its worth it! Great house! recommend 100%

Had a great family stay over the Easter weekend

A wonderful place with stunning river views, we had a very comfortable stay and thoroughly enjoyed this beautiful apartment. Easy walking distance from the town centre. The apartment also has a lovely riverside terrace for taking in both sunrise and sunset in a quiet and private setting. Would highly recommend.

Our first family holiday with our 11 month son. The place was perfect for him to roam around with lots of outside space and we brought our own travel cot and highchair. We had such a special time. A great location with lovely views, lovely and clean on arrival and lovely hosts. We will definitely be coming back!

Enjoyed stay at Paul's place, close to Fremington Quay for access to Tarka trail. Everything you need for 2 people stay few nights, clean and as described. Ample parking, close shop and pub. Quiet green outlook.

We’ve had the most wonderful week at Stargazy: refreshing early morning swims, surfing/boarding, coastal walks, enjoying amazing views from the deck, terrace and bbq and re-visiting our favourite foodie places! Super-comfortable beds - Paul kindly sorted non-feather bedding to allow for family allergies. Great showers and a well equipped kitchen. A generous welcome pack on arrival was a lovely surprise and the terrace bar was a wonderful touch! We would love to return. Thank you Paul!!

The most wonderful apartment for a couple in the wonderful town Totnes. Had everything you need and really comfortable. Just around the corner are the bars, restaurants, and the high street, as well as the bus to take you up river to Buckfastleigh or down river to Dartmouth.

This house the steppes at Dartmouth is the most beautiful holiday home I have ever been to. I don't travel abroad so i tend to look for nice places in England. I saw this house and I just wanted to be there. I treated my family for this holiday in memory of our late parents who loved Dartmouth. It exceeded every expectation and was truly wonderful. Thank you for letting us experience this beautiful home.

This place was stunning! Felt right at home from the moment we walked in. The attention to detail was what I felt was the winner especially after a very long stressful drive: tea bags, coffee, a bottle of wine, and cookies on the side, milk in the fridge, leaflets and books of things to see and do in the area, ice in the freezer! Even safety certificates and equipment manuals in the guest book. And that was just downstairs. Absolutely incredible and the hosts were super helpful and welcoming always. 12 out of 10!!!
