We had a lovely time. Everything was as described. It’s a beautiful, quiet location. The roads in the area are quite narrow, so you should allow some extra time for getting around, but it’s really perfect for people who love country life.

This property was absolutely perfect for a weekend away from London with friends. We only needed 2 of the bedrooms, but 2 other rooms were available. We brought our dog as well. Everyone thought the property was perfect for all we wanted to do. We came to dine at Seahorse and go hiking in the area. Our stay in this Dartmouth property was absolutely amazing. The views were stunning, the people were great, the town had plenty to do and lots of history, the weather was perfect, etc. I couldn’t have asked for more. Paul was extremely helpful throughout and he was always there to help instantly whenever I needed it. I couldn’t recommend this stay more. You’ll have a great time!

“Great house with great location; there was just 5 minutes to city centre. Paul was very welcoming and we were greeted with a nice welcoming pack. Some board games were available in the living room as well which had a beautiful view. Beds were also very clean and comfortable. Thank you.”

We came for a much needed break and Lower Heywood was the perfect place to relax and unwind. We loved the roll top bath, powerful shower and the kitchen had everything you could possibly need. The food festival was a bonus for a wonderful town that has a special place in our hearts as we got engaged here 32 years ago. Would recommend to anyone, the view was fantastic and the place was very cosy. We only had one issue with the hot tub which was our mistake in not reading correctly that it would not be ready on the first day, other than that it was perfectly suited for our needs. Thank you!
