Beach literally on the doorstep for walks or more adventurous surfing/windsurfing/paddle boarding etc. Lovely pub on Burgh Island (need to book for dinner) with the added adventure of the sea tractor at high tide. Fantastic place, great size and extremely well placed for the town, just a 1 minute walk. Bed and shower great and kitchen very well equipped. Very quite area and the parking permit is such a great addition. Only a 5 minute walk and spaces always available for us. You can park outside for an hour between 9am to 6pm. Pretty flat, beautiful decorated and just right for 3 people working the food festival. Easy to find, parking might be an issue in summer but in October it was a breeze. Great hosts and would definitely recommend.

We have just returned from a few days at the lodge in between Christmas and New Year. It was absolutely gorgeous , so cosy and in such a beautiful setting. It was decorated beautifully for Christmas as well. We really loved the log burner in the evenings, it’s clear that everything has been thought out carefully in the lodge. The beds are so comfortable and the decor absolutely lovely, we were sad to leave!
