The place was a great space! The kitchen was clean and it was lovely to have a big dining area as well as a comfortable living room to relax in. Our dog loved the garden and you can see the harbour which was a bonus! Three comfy double bedrooms and 2 bathrooms to choose from. The street was quiet & plenty of space to park! Fantastic stay here for my parents’ Christmas present. Beautifully kept property, that accommodated us all perfectly. Plenty of space for 7 adults to all live, socialise and enjoy. Excellent value for money for a short break to our mum’s birthplace Devon. Lodge was very comfortable with everything you need. Fab views and peaceful setting. Great selection of restaurants in Dartmouth. Would recommend Rockfish for fresh seafood and trips to both Blackpool and Slapton Sands which was the location of the tragic Exercise Tiger practice for D-Day landings. Brambles annexe was easy to find, very quiet location and a nice little base to explore the local area from. The property is looked after by the lovely couple next door who popped by to check everything was ok. On arrival we messaged Paul to let him know the loo seat was very loose, quick response and repaired straight away. We had a lovely week i n Lower Deck. It is a short stroll down into the town and a longer walk in the opposite direction to the castle and round the headland. We loved waking up to the views across the water and we managed the whole week without using our car, taking ferries and buses to visit Totnes, Brixham and Agatha Christie’s house, Greenway.
