We had the best time staying here as a family of 6. The house was wonderfully well-equipped with everything we could possibly need. It’s in a perfect location for beach days, walks, and visiting Burgh Island. We absolutely loved ‘The Stargazy Arms’, the upper terrace, playing darts made our evenings so special. A perfect Thursday to Sunday getaway!

Lovely outside space that we enjoyed eating our meals at because we were lucky with the weather. A hideaway above the hustle and bustle of Dartmouth. Great views and super comfy mattress! The apartment is totally original and quirky. Loved it. Paul has been really helpful from the initial booking and after check out. Easy parking either on the street or in the nearby car park. And the breakfast was delicious. Would definitely recommend.

“We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend stay at Higher Venice for my mother’s 60th Birthday. Plenty of room for us all as a party of 7 adults, 5 children and 2 dogs. Wonderful location, as it is accessed via a car park with a very short walk along a rivers edge & into a field – finding it in the dark was a challenge but another time it would be a breeze.
