The Dolphin Inn

Down the road in the beautiful town of Dartmouth, you will find the much-loved Dolphin Inn. This is one to visit simply for the décor. With regular live music and events, this pub is a great option when in the area. Some might say you cannot make a trip to Dartmouth without visiting The Dolphin Inn.

The George Inn

The George Inn is a family run, village Inn in the heart of Blackawton’s friendly community. There has been a pub here since the church was built in the 14th century. This comfortable two bar pub has a welcoming wood burning stove, perfect for those cooler autumnal and winter days. They host a weekly quiz night and serve delicious food. Pop in for a tipple or two, chat to some locals, and learn about the local area!

The Start Bay Inn

Down the road in Torcross, you will find the wonderful Start Bay Inn. Positioned overlooking the beach, this is an ideal spot to enjoy a beverage after a day at the beach. With indoor and outdoor seating, indulge no matter the weather or season. With a fully stocked by, serving local and classics, there is something for everyone at this 14th century Inn. 

The Sportsman’s Arms

A popular traditional pub serving delicious drinks and food for all occasions. They are a dog-friendly establishment. It is the perfect place to enjoy a glass of something refreshing surrounded by rolling countryside hills on a warm day in their garden or to get cosy inside when the weather turns. This is a much-loved spot by locals from the area. So, pop in and enjoy a chat. You just might learn something!

The Tower Inn

The Tower Inn is a local classic. Down the road in the village of Slapton, pop in for a tipple or bite to eat. Chat to the locals and learn about the history of Slapton Village and get some recommendations for the local area.  Serving local beers, ales, ciders, and spirits, enjoy this little haven on Your Devon Escape.
