Blackpool Sands
Set in an unspoilt, sheltered bay, it is a safe option for a beach day out. Swim, sail or relax on the sand. Hire kayaks and paddleboards throughout the summer to get on the water. Realise you are a family of natural crabbers? Take part in the crabbing competition at Dartmouth’s very own Royal Regatta. Pennywell Farm
Open seven days a week from February to October, offering rides, animal cuddles, egg collecting and more. With events happening every half an hour throughout the day, learn all you need to know about the world of farming in an interactive, activity-orientated way. Being the largest theme park in Devon, it is packed with fun for all the family. It holds the largest indoor play areas in the South West, alongside water slides and a zoo farm. There is endless fun on offer, whether the rain is pouring, or the sun is shining. They hold events throughout the year, including a Santa’s Grotto, and welcome special visitors such as Peppa Pig.
