Victoria Terrace is a fantastically located holiday home, just perfect for multigenerational family holidays, or for groups of friends. A short walk from the centre of Dartmouth, explore the bustling town and beyond with ease.

Victoria Terrace is perfectly laid out for a comfortable stay with an open plan kitchen-diner and a separate lounge area.  The lounge is situated at the front of the property, flooded with lots of natural light from the large bay windows.  It is equipped with two comfortable sofas, a wall-mounted TV, and a wood burning stove. It is the perfect space for relaxing together, especially throughout the colder months.

The kitchen-diner is modern, well equipped and leads out onto the first rear decking area through the side door. Settle in around the large dining table, or simply chill out on the comfortable sofa, to enjoy some group games or watch TV in the dining room. It provides the perfect space for a small gathering or a second living area. The downstairs bathroom is located just off the dining room and boasts a walk-in shower and toilet.

The upstairs hosts three bedrooms and a family bathroom, all benefitting from an abundance of natural light. The master bedroom is home to a king size bed, a chest of drawers and wardrobe with hanging space. It enjoys views of Devon’s beautiful countryside and the rear garden.  The second bedroom is located at the front of the house and consists of a double bed with drawer space.  The third bedroom can be set up with either a super king bed or two single beds (please advise us when booking) and a chest of drawers. The family bathroom consists of a bath and overhead shower.

If you’re keen on enjoying breakfast alfresco-style or socialising with a glass in hand, choose from one of the two rear decking areas. The furthest provides glimpses of the river Dart in the centre of town and is comfortably equipped with outdoor furniture. Simply sit back, relax, and enjoy the view with your loved ones.

Dartmouth is an idyllic base for an escape to Devon. Enjoy stunning views from the banks of the River Dart as you stroll along the embankment. Wander the streets of independent shops, restaurants and cafés.  Indulge in a boat trip on the River Dart, or catch the ferry and hop on the steam train.

Families with adventurous young explorers are sure to love nearby Woodlands, just five miles out from this idyllic property, where all-weather fun is guaranteed. With a mixture of rides, indoor and outdoor play areas, and even a toboggan run, you’re sure of a good day out. Or why not step away from the shore and take a boat ride up to see the sights of the historic Greenway Holt, home of Agatha Christie.

Blackpool Sands is the closest beach, a five-minute drive or a one-hour and half walk away along the South West Coast Path.  There are many beaches and walks to explore along this stretch of coastline.  To find our favourites, head to our journal.

Dartmouth is an all year round destination hosting a variety of regional events like the yearly Dart Music Festival (May), the Port of Dartmouth Royal Regatta (August), and the Dartmouth Food Festival (October).

There is parking for two cars available at the property: one car on the driveway and one on the road in front of the house. Explore everything that the town and local area has to offer, by foot or by car.

'Absolutely beautiful property! We loved the kitchen and dining room space with the big blue comfy sofa to lounge on. The house was absolutely spotless and it was great having a bathroom on each floor (both with amazing showers). Beds were very comfortable and you have the option of having a queen bed or 2 singles in one room. Although the walk into town isn’t far, walking back up the hill is good exercise! The one thing we could not get over was how beautiful the garden was! We were very lucky with the weather and spent so much time out there as it’s such a sun trap. Paul was very quick to answer any questions I had and let us check in early which we really appreciated! Definitely recommend staying here."

Rebecca, May 23

"Our second stay at this lovely house and we will be back. The three double bedrooms works very well for our family and the location is great. An easy walk down to the river with all the lovely restaurants and views. Perfect!"

Kate, Oct 23

"We had a fantastic weekend and the house was spotless and lovely. Close to the town and restaurant and we would definitely go back. Also, very well equipped and everything we needed for our stay was provided".

Karen, Feb 24

"Had a really nice stay over Easter. The house is clean and tidy and has everything you'd need. Good parking right outside the property makes things easy. A bit of a climb from the town, but not too strenuous and helps to burn off the calories !! Great host, everything went very smoothly".

Anthony, March 24

"Lovely home with terraced garden, ideal for eating alfresco or to enjoy early morning coffee along with amazing views down to the harbour. Property has ample space, is well thought out and equipped. Parking at property is handy, good location for walking down into town".

Teresa, May 24

"Beautiful house in a great location. The kitchen facilities were just what we needed for our evening meals, and the living room space was perfect for our evening games! Good exercise going up and down that hill, too! We really enjoyed our stay, thank you for having us".

Chris, June 24

"What a beautiful home. So well looked after and appointed. Beautifully clean and very pretty. The communication with the owner was superb and we are certainly going to go back again. The are is fabulous and we really appreciated all the tips the owner left in a file for us. So much better than a hotel room."

Susanna, June 24

"Very nice stay. Place was lovely and clean, instructions from Paul were easy to enter and leave property On a quiet road about 15 minute walk from the town, going in is easy as its downhill back is a bit harder as it eventually becomes quite steep. If you dont want to walk the number 90 bus will take you up the hill from the center for £2 per adult! If your reasonably fit though its fine to walk. Garden is on a steep terraced slope but you can sit on the first terrace which catches the sun which is nice in the afternoon. The bedrooms are great, a decent size and we all slept really well. There is also small bathroom with shower downstairs if there are a few of you needing to shower at the same time which is useful. Kitchen well equipped with everything you’ll need. Lots of lovely if somewhat pricey restaurants in the town. A couple of lovely beaches about 20 minutes away, better to take a picnic as not many cafes on the beaches. Overall though we all enjoyed our stay the house."

Richard, July 24

The house was exactly as described and everything we needed for a long weekend with a safe space for the dog. A larger group could easily be just as comfortable here.

Kelly, October 24

"There was 6 adults the living rooms and kitchen space were great. 10 minute walk into town so good location. Would book the house again - thank you"
