Wish we could have stayed longer …
Our stay was a perfect base for a family holiday. The nearness of the beach a definite asset especially when you have a 3 year old with you! You could easily pop back if something had been forgotten. Despite the time of year we had glorious weather; it seems to have it’s own micro climate which left us mostly sunny and dry whilst most other places had rain? This enabled the extended family to gather for evening meals on the top deck, and enjoy the stunning views (and the bar of course!). Will definitely be returning. Should also mention the well equipped kitchen, a real treat, and the ‘warm’ outdoor shower was a definite bonus for cleaning off the sand lovers. Wish we could have stayed longer …

We had a wonderful week at Stargazy. Amazing location, right on the beach. Beautiful views, and lovely outside space. The house itself was comfortable and well appointed – including a very well kitted-out kitchen. Thank you!
Really fantastic house
Really fantastic house in a fantastic location (very close to beach) with a wonderful barbecue and seating area looking out across fantastic views – would whole heartedly recommended to anyone planning a trip to the area
Just back from a fantastic three nights
Just back from a fantastic three nights at the place. The location of the house is fabulous, just 1-2 minutes walk from the beach. It felt very homely and comfortably sleeps 8 Breakfast on the balcony overlooking the sea and beach was sublime. Drinks up in the bar on the top decking at the back of the house in the evening with stunning views was real bonus. There are plenty of games to keep you occupied and we didn’t turn the TV on, not once. A nice spacious kitchen and a dinning room table that sits 8. We walked over to Burgh Island for a lovely meal at The Pilchard. Had a dip in the sea. Played golf at the very friendly and welcoming Bigbury and Thurlestone golf clubs and rounded it all off with a final meal at The Oyster Shack, only 10 minutes drive away. Will be back with the family. Thank you.

This place was just incredible!
This place was just incredible!! My friends and I were so impressed and the photos really don’t do it justice. We had a fantastic time and there was so much to do! The property itself was incredibly well maintained and clean. The kitchen and living area is large and spacious and the back garden with the bar area was great for bbqs. I will definitely be returning soon!

We had an excellent stay, only a minute to walk to the beach we enjoyed swimming in the sea every day. We loved the back garden with a BBQ, lots of comfortable seating and perfect sea view. Would definitely recommend and we would love to stay again.

We had an amazing stay at Stargazy! The property is absolutely gorgeous and the views of the sea and Burgh Island were stunning. The attention to detail was so special and we loved the hamper full of tea, coffee, bread, milk and butter. The ‘Stargazy Arms’ was definitely a highlight and we really enjoyed having a BBQ and drinks on the top deck. I would highly recommend booking this property, you will not be disappointed and we will definitely be returning! Thank you so much for a lovely stay

We had an amazing stay at Stargazy . We stayed for three nights and the property was exactly as described and pictured. It’s a stunning location, moments away from Bigbury beach, and the Airbnb was stunning. It had beautiful indoor and outdoor spaces perfect for relaxing or entertaining. The outdoor barbecue space was particularly wonderful as was the living room with its panoramic glass sliding doors facing out to the sea - the views from the house were incredible. We were worried it was going to rain the whole time, luckily we had incredible, sunny weather so could enjoy local beaches, towns and the outdoor spaces at the property, but even if it had rained, the property is so stunning we would’ve enjoyed just hanging out indoors there with the beautiful views and relaxing atmosphere. We had a great time and have recommended it to all our friends. Thank you for a great stay!
Simply Blissful!
Blissful stay at Stargazy for our family of 5 was truly memorable. Spacious, comfortable interior with touch of relaxed luxury throughout really brought a home feel. The views are beautiful, the sunrise over the lounge decks was superb. Generous outdoor and indoor dining space treats with ample space and comfort. We only booked 3 nights this time for sake of easy access to the Bigbury beach and nature walks. Beautiful back garden with incredible rosemary landscape snuggles around the outdoor bar, great for rejuvenating and peaceful evening ( seagulls are part of the deal, though:) Overall outstanding and highly recommended. Incredible Location
"Incredible location for a relaxing weekend away with friends. Beach literally on the doorstep for walks or more adventurous surfing/windsurfing/paddle boarding etc. Lovely pub on Burgh Island (need to book for dinner) with the added adventure of the sea tractor at high tide. And then the property! Lovely layout, very clean and everything you need. The outside space is incredible with the seating and bar section on the top deck needing to be seen to be believed! Overall an amazing property, very responsive and helpful host and a beautiful setting. Thoroughly recommended."

"Wonderfully located and a stunning view from both the house and the upper terrace area. Certainly enough to do around the house alone. Looking for a stroll, the beach is a minute walk away. Great island to venture to House was very clean and well described to the booking".
Fantastic Find
"What a fantastic find! If you’re looking for a beach house with tremendous access and convenience, you really can’t do better. We absolutely loved our stay and are already talking about when we can return. The upper terrace on the garden was wonderful and private and the children adored playing mixologists in the bar. The beach was completely perfect and between the offerings of Burgh Island and the beach cafe, we were sorted food wise. A fabulous place to stay and can’t recommend it enough!"

"We had a fantastic 4 night stay at Stargazy. The house itself is beautifully decorated and well equipped and accommodated the 7 of us, and 3 cars, really well. The view from the sitting room, kitchen and front balcony is lovely, and on the wet and windy days we encountered the log burner was a very welcome addition. The terraced garden is immaculate with a very large top deck and the brilliantly designed Stargazy Arms. While the great British weather wasn’t on our side, we still managed to spend a good few hours sitting up there, playing darts and enjoying the ‘pub in the garden’. The location of Stargazy couldn’t be better, with direct access to the fantastic beach directly opposite the house. The beach is brilliant, great for kids body boarding and long strolls at low tide. There is a good beach cafe, surf hire and beach shop. The walk over to Burgh Island at low tide was a unique experience, with a number of enjoyable pints had at The Pilchard pub. Great stay, we’ll be back!"

"We’ve had the most wonderful week at Stargazy: refreshing early morning swims, surfing/boarding, coastal walks, enjoying amazing views from the deck, terrace and bbq and re-visiting our favourite foodie places! Super-comfortable beds - Paul kindly sorted non-feather bedding to allow for family allergies. Great showers and a well equipped kitchen. A generous welcome pack on arrival was a lovely surprise and the terrace bar was a wonderful touch! We would love to return. Thank you"
