Space
As you step into Ritson Farm, you’ll immediately feel at home. The entrance hall is adorned with a unique display of old keys on a 14th-Century oak mount. The spacious kitchen is complete with a gas Rayburn and modern appliances, perfect for family gatherings. The stunning conservatory invites you to enjoy the glorious outdoor space and admire the green rolling hills of Devon’s countryside. The cosy sitting room, bathed in natural light with patio doors, leads to the garden. The ground floor is complete with a functional utility room for all your washing needs.
The farmhouse’s flexible sleeping arrangements make it the perfect fit for a group of all sizes and ages. With one king, two double bedrooms and the option of either a super king set up or twin rooms for the other two bedrooms, everyone will be comfortable. One of the double bedrooms is located on the ground floor with an ensuite.
You’ll notice the craftmanship of the owner, a skilled carpenter, throughout the property. From the reclaimed window frames from the Dartmouth Lower Ferry to the kitchen island, crafted from a local chestnut tree, each room offers its own unique feature. It really is something special.
The garden at Ritson Farm is a true highlight, featuring a large patio with a barbecue and an outdoor dining area for ten. The lawn, bordered by pretty flower beds, stretches along the house and offers breathtaking views of the surrounding fields – a perfect spot to unwind after a day exploring the beaches.
The neighbouring field is home to donkeys and chickens, adding a charming touch that’s impossible not to love.
