Located in the quiet Bridgetown conservation area, enjoy a quiet corner of Totnes whilst being close to the action.  Welcoming up to eight people, its spacious interiors perfectly cater to families or groups of friends. It is wonderful for making cherished memories during much-anticipated get-togethers.

Enter the property to a spacious entrance hall leading to the living space and stairs. Benefitting from oodles of natural light, this stylish holiday home offers an open plan living and dining area. The lounge is elegant, yet bold, with colours allowing you to appreciate the history of the home.  The dining room offers a roaring wood-burner, ideal for the cold and cosy months.  The galley-styled kitchen is positioned off the dining room. It is home to beautiful blue tones and pops of colour. South facing to provide lots of natural light, cook up a storm whilst sharing stories over a tipple or two.

To best suit families or groups of friends, the bedrooms cater to all generations, with a super king room, two king bedrooms and a twin room. The first floor is home to a king bedroom room, the super king room, and a family bathroom. The family bathroom is complete with a bath, toilet and large basin. The second floor is a converted loft with a twin bedroom (containing your choice of one or two single beds), a king-sized bedroom and a smaller bathroom with a walk-in shower. All bedrooms are uniquely yet tastefully decorated with warm colours and serene décor.

Outside there is a fantastic, enclosed garden. Accessed from either the kitchen or the floor-to-ceiling doors in the dining room, head up the patio stairs to admire the garden’s abundance of flowers, plants and shrubs. Sit and enjoy a morning coffee or evening glass of wine whilst taking in the sights and smells that surround this beautiful cottage. A barbeque can also be provided on request to make the most of warm evenings.

The market town of Totnes is the ideal place for an escape this year.  The town centre is home to an excellent selection of independent shops, restaurants and cafés for you to enjoy.

It is home to many attractions, perfect for all ages. Many are within walking distance of Pomeroy Cottage.  Check out the Totnes Museum or Totnes Castle to understand the local history, the Rare Breeds Farm to learn about different animals, and hop on the South Devon Steam Railway to enjoy the Devon countryside.

The River Dart flows alongside the town. Enjoy a wander and watch the boats bob by or hop on the ferry to the nearby town of Dartmouth.

Further afield, there are many villages and pubs waiting to be explored. Or for nearby natural attractions, discover some of the best beaches in the UK and the splendour of Dartmoor National Park.

"We loved our stay here - the place was super clean, all the rooms were lovely, and we arrived to a bottle of wine and some local fudge :) There are lamps everywhere which make the place super cosy and lovely to be in. The best house I've ever stayed in! Would 100% recommend if you're in Totnes and need the space!"

"Just a quick note to let you know that our stay at Pomeroy Cottage was Gold Standard! The property was perfect for us- location especially, facilities in the house, parking, information book in the house etc but the standard of cleanliness was absolutely outstanding! It really was the cleanest, tidiest and most well cared for property I have ever stayed in. Many thanks for a great mini break."

Nadia, March 24

"Provided an excellent base for our reunion. Very comfortable and homely house. Loved all the artwork. Kitchen is stocked with anything you might need. Spotlessly clean and beds very comfortable with quality bedding and pillows. Could not have asked for more. As stated in description parking is limited to one car behind property - a mere minute walk. The price you pay for being so close to Totnes which was 10 mins walk away".

Helen, June 24

"We (5 adults) had a really lovely stay in Totnes. The house was in a great location and was really comfortable, clean and had everything we needed to cook, relax and feel at home. We would definitely book again if we go to Totnes in the future".

"The perfect place for our family of 8 adults. Close to everything, beautiful and it even had a decorated Christmas tree. Quick responses to any queries and kindly allowed early entry and later departure with no fuss. Would definitely return".

Bridget, Dec 24

"Beautiful house and it had all we needed for a friends' weekend away - everything we possibly thought of was there in the kitchen, lovely kitchenware, big table for communal meals, cosy lounge space. Quick walk to town and a shop and pub nearby. Will definitely book again".
