Description
Welcome to Elm Grove, a charming Georgian property in the heart of Dartmouth. This elegant retreat with parking offers a perfect blend of historical charm and modern comfort, making it an ideal holiday destination for families and groups of up to seven guests.
The property features three spacious bedrooms, comfortably accommodating up to seven people. At the rear, you'll find a stunning, large, elevated decking area that offers breathtaking views of Dartmouth and the River Dart.
Space
As you enter, you are greeted by a light and airy hallway that leads to the ground floor living room and kitchen diner. The lounge is a perfect relaxation spot, equipped with a BT TV system, DVD player, and two large leather sofas. Wooden floors add a touch of elegance, while French doors open onto the front terrace and garden. It provides a seamless blend of indoor and outdoor living.
The large open-plan kitchen diner is a chef’s delight, boasting a Range cooker, microwave, dishwasher, coffee machine and a large American fridge/freezer. French doors in this area also lead to the front terrace. The dining area features a large table with seating for eight, a comfy settee and a wall-mounted TV, making it an ideal space for family meals and gatherings.
Adjacent to the kitchen is a utility room equipped with a washing machine, tumble dryer and a wet room with shower, hand-basin, and toilet.
Stairs, positioned near the front door, lead to the first floor where the three bedrooms and a family bathroom are located. The master bedroom, situated at the rear of the property, features an original fireplace, a king-size bed, a dressing area, ample storage and an ensuite shower room. The second bedroom is a light and airy room overlooking the front garden, furnished with a king-size bed and storage. The third bedroom is ideal for older children, offering three single beds and a 55” wall-mounted TV and overlooks the front garden. The family bathroom is well-appointed with a bath with overhead shower, hand basin and toilet.
The outdoor spaces of this property are equally impressive. The front garden includes a lawned area with a terrace, complete with a dining table and chairs. It is perfect for alfresco dining. Steps to the side of the property lead to the an extensive rear decked terrace, where you can relax on rattan furniture and enjoy far-reaching views across the town and down to the river.
This Dartmouth holiday home is perfect for a family holiday or gathering with friends, with ample indoor and outdoor space, to host a dinner party or simply spread out and enjoy.
Notes
Please note that due to the steps approaching this property and to the decked terrace, it may not be suitable for those with impaired mobility. Additionally, young children must be supervised at all times due to the height and steps to the rear terrace.
Parking:
The property has a private space to park one standard sized family car or two small (Smart Cars). The main central car park is located just a five minute walk from the property and can be controlled using the PaybyPhone App or alternatively, the ‘Just Park’ app can offer local alternatives.

Neighborhood
Despite its tranquil location, the property is just a five-minute walk from Dartmouth’s bustling town centre. Home to a wide selection of independent shops and some of the best restaurants in the county, so make sure you enjoy all that the town has to offer!
For those wanting to venture further afield, there are so many activities and attractions a stone’s throw away. Families with adventurous young explorers are sure to love nearby Woodlands, where all-weather fun is guaranteed. With a mixture of rides, indoor and outdoor play areas, and even a toboggan run, you’re sure of a good day out. Or why not step away from the shore and take a boat ride up to see the sights of the historic Greenway Holt, home of Agatha Christie. For a unique day out, why not try the Round Robin. Spend the day exploring local towns and enjoying the scenery by bus, steam train and boat.
