As you arrive, you will be welcomed by a lovely, paved terrace at the front of the cottage. It is the ideal spot for alfresco dining or relaxing with a good book. Bathed in sunshine, it is the perfect place to enjoy your morning coffee, watch the local wildlife or wave to the passing farmer.

Step inside to an open-plan kitchen, dining and living space that is brimming with country charm. The kitchen features a Belfast sink, wooden countertops and a rustic electric range, inviting you to cook up a feast with fresh, local produce. Gather around the dining table to share meals and create lasting family memories.

The cosy lounge is a haven of relaxation, complete with a log burner for chilly evenings and comfortable leather sofas where you can unwind with a movie or a good book. Your furry friend will love curling up by the fire too, making it a perfect home-away-from-home for both you and your pet.

Upstairs, the first-floor houses two beautifully furnished bedrooms, each with its own ensuite. The master bedroom offers a king-size bed (which can be converted into two singles upon request), along with an open-plan shower and wash basin. The second bedroom features a luxurious roll-top bath and a king size bed, ensuring everyone has their own space to relax.

For families, baby equipment such as a highchair, stair gate, and travel cot are available upon request, ensuring even the little ones are catered for.

Cider House is fully equipped for a comfortable stay, with modern amenities like a 4K Smart TV, DVD player and a selection of board games and books for cosy nights in. "Thank you so much for a fabulous week in Cider. The countryside is beautiful and the location is perfect for exploring the South Devon beaches. The cottage is amazing. It’s well equipped, comfortable and the perfect retreat. Thank you again."

Simon & Rosie, Summer 24

"We loved our stay at Cider barn. It was well equipped and cosy. There is so much to do nearby and the setting is beautiful. Thank you Flavia and Jimi for our dance lesson - it was a real highlight. We would love to return and highly recommend the barn to others".

Teresa & Russ, Spring 24

"We spent a lovey few days at Shepherds and Cider, as a family of four adults spread across the two cottages. Our stay was the combination of luxury hotel with cosy and homely cottages. Both are extremely comfortable with everything you could possibly want - well equipped kitchens, hot showers and baths, super comfy beds - the list goes on! They are very well situated with towns and coast just a short drive away. Plus the fresh eggs from the 'ladies' were delicious. Thank you! We do hope to stay again in the future.".
