Bespoke Coffee

A quaint coffee shop at the bottom of Browns Steps. Run by owner, Nicola, the café serves coffee, cakes, bakes and light lunches. Alongside artisan coffee, they offer a selection of organic teas, luxury hot chocolate and seasonal speciality drinks. For a sit down between shops or a delicious homemade snack lunch, this is the spot! If you are staying in one of our holiday homes, enjoy at a discount through our Visitor’s Club.

Fika Coffee House
1 Bridge Quay, The Quay, Kingsbridge, TQ7 1FD
Fika is a small coffee house in the centre of Kingsbridge. They serve all day breakfasts, light lunches, cakes, and (of course) excellent coffee! Owned by South African family, their aim is to create an environment where people can take time to share coffee and cake with colleagues and friends. Pop in for a delicious coffee and perhaps give something on the menu a try. They serve an excellent selection of vegetarian and vegan options.

Hairy Barista
69 High Street, Totnes, TQ9 5PB
Offering a fully plant-based menu, this establishment is excellent for catering to allergies and dietary requirements. They are, in Your Devon Escape’s opinion, one of the best coffee shops in Devon. The Hairy Barista’s mission is to source and provide the local community with the highest quality produce. They do so by offering organic, local, and homemade. If you are after more than a coffee, be sure to try their vegan ‘salmon and cream cheese’ bagel.

Mangetout
84 Fore Street, Kingsbridge, TQ7 1PP
Mangetout serves organic and fairtrade coffee, alongside their breakfast and lunch menus. Head in for a yummy coffee whilst exploring the high street. They also have a site in Totnes if you find yourself over in that direction! Be sure to check them out on Your Devon Escape!

Port Espresso
26 Middle Street, Brixham, TQ5 8ER
A small coffee shop, located in the lovely Brixham town. Caved into the side of a rock face, this cosy cave serves exceptional coffee and delicious brunches. Pop in and grab a coffee before walking out to the breakwater, or stop to have a chat with friends. With vegetarian and vegan options, they truly have something on the menu for everyone. Woodroast

This lovely coffee shop, owned by The Curator, serves wood roasted coffee and handcrafted cakes and sweet treats. Pop in to taste some excellent artisan coffee and have a chat with the staff. This quaint and friendly coffee shop is tucked down a side street, and always filled with locals happy to chat. Grab a coffee before strolling along the embankment or take a seat and enjoy the break.
