Open April to October (weather permitting), this relaxed, outdoor space is perfect for a drink. Enjoy a bottle of wine in the late afternoon sun, watch the sunset on the River Dart or enjoy one of the many local spirits that South Devon has on offer. Enjoy the boats pottering by.

Joe’s Bar
Named after a friend of the owner, this elegant bar is tucked away down a side street, around the corner from the Coop. Hosting artwork of Bas Kennedy, with a thoughtful wine list and small cocktail menu, this is a place for a pre- or post-dinner drink, or if just passing by. Partner with a meal at the Seahorse for a lovely evening out.

The Crab
This friendly pub is located along the embankment of the River Dart. Enjoy a cold pint inside or outside overlooking the river. Hosting live music at events throughout the year such as during Music Festival and the Royal Regatta, this local’s pub is definitely one to try. Keep your eyes peeled for seals and dolphins enjoying themselves in the river.

Dartmouth Arms
A traditional pub located on the historic Bayard’s Cove. Serving food and greats beers, this is one to give a go. Sit inside or grab a takeaway and sit on one of the benches along the cobbled cove. A good day drinking spot when the sun is out or a good helping hand whilst the children are crabbing.

The Dolphin Inn
A true local’s establishment. This is one to visit just for the décor. With live music, cash draws and hosting sporting events, this is pub has something for everyone. You cannot come to Dartmouth and not pay this place a visit.

The George & Dragon
With a large indoor seating area alongside a suntrap of a beer garden, this is a destination venue for rain or shine. Having the only beer garden in Dartmouth, this is loved by locals and visitors through the summer months. Pop in for a drink or some food, or pop along for the music during Music Festival and the Royal Regatta.

The Market House Inn
A comfortable family run pub located opposite the Old Market Square. Serving a good selection of beers, ales, and spirits alongside some light snacks. You will find many a local in this establishment. Showing live sports, hosting a pool table and darts board, it’s a place to go for any event.

The Royal Castle Hotel
Situated at the very heart of Dartmouth, overlooking the boat float and River Dart. This 17th century building is iconic and unmissable. Recently taken over by St. Austell Brewery, pop in for a casual drink or some food.

The Sail Loft
With a premium stocked bar, and indoor and outdoor seating, this is a location for an early or late evening drink. With a bar and lounge area, this is a perfect spot for a relaxed drink or for getting merry with family and friends. The Seven Stars
Dartmouth’s oldest pub and full of character, this is one to check out for a pint or some homemade, locally sourced food. With two fireplaces and welcoming staff, you will definitely receive a warm welcome. A dog friendly pub serving local ales and ciders.

Yarn
A small and intimate bar serving craft beer, gin, and wine. They offer an ever-changing brunch and burger menu, focusing on regional and seasonal produce. With a good atmosphere and great drinks on the menu, this is unique and independent bar is one to try. When you pop in be sure to check out the toilets.
