We had such a lovely time at this house. The setting is breathtaking. The location is great. We hiked to both beaches, and to the small cove that is not accessible by cars. Our kids had a blast. Highly recommend.

We actually couldn’t quite believe how incredible the view of the River Dart was from the living room and the master bedroom. Absolutely stunning. Amazing 5 nights stay at this beautifully furnished new property. Incredible location with panoramic views of the river and harbour. 20 mins walk to the town – a bit far for some people maybe but we wanted a quieter spot. We absolutely love the Rivershack and have stayed several times in the past. The location is amazing, right on the river. We swam everyday when the tide was in. The shack is small but has everything you need, from a utility area for wetsuits and muddy boots, a hot shower as well as a free standing bath, really comfortable beds and a well equipped kitchen. Wonderful cabin, so peaceful and beautifully decorated. The kitchen had everything one could need for food preparation and dining. Beds are comfortable and spotless. Warm and comfortable. Perfect bathrooms. The surroundings are beautiful and all you can hear is the stream in the distance and the whisper of the wind and the trees. Paul replied promptly each time I asked questions.

We had a wonderful few days at the Boathouse – the location is second to none! To listen to the waves crash into the sea wall was the best! The pub was just right and the food was fantastic. All in all we had a relaxing and enjoyable weekend in a unique property with huge appeal. I hope to return soon.

The instructions to getting to and into the house were straightforward and easy to follow. The turn into the drive from the main road is very tight but our estate made it ok. The house is beautiful inside with plenty of space in the living areas and kitchen, which has everything you need.
