A lovely, cosy little house, a short walk into the town. We really enjoyed our time at this house. It has everything you need, well equipped kitchen, a lovely wood burner, 2 tvs with Netflix etc, comfy beds, and ideal for a family as well as our Labrador. We had the best time staying here as a family of 6. The house was wonderfully well-equipped with everything we could possibly need. It’s in a perfect location for beach days, walks, and visiting Burgh Island. We absolutely loved ‘The Stargazy Arms’, the upper terrace, playing darts made our evenings so special. A perfect Thursday to Sunday getaway!

We love coming to Thurlestone and Spindrift is a beautiful property perfectly placed to walk to the hotel, Village Inn and beaches. The house has a secure garden and is dog friendly. There are great amenities and things to do inside if the weather is inclement. Paul is a great host who responds quickly to messages and sorts out any problems without any fuss.

Great location & lovely cottage. We had an issue with no hot water. I am dissatisfied with the hosts response that it was because the hot water was on a timer as it doesn’t make sense that it wasn’t set to come on for the morning. I would assume this has now been rectified, but I would check before you book.

We have just spent the most wonderful long weekend at Steppes. It is the most wonderful house with an amazing view which was perfect for a big family get together. Coffee on the deck in the morning sunshine, looking at everything going on in the harbour and the view out to see was just incredible. Thank you for letting us enjoy this wonderful house.
