What a fabulous few days we’ve had at Stargazy over Christmas. The location was perfect, off the beaten track, but within reach of pubs/shops etc. The house itself is beautiful with views of the beach and ocean, a wonderful backdrop for Christmas dinner it has to be said. Paul was a fantastic host, always responsive, leaving a bottle of bubbly for our arrival and decorating the lounge with a lovely tree.

The photos of this place don’t actually do it justice! Such a beautiful home with the most incredible views. We had to park in the main car park and then walk to the house which I’m sure would have been less stressful if we didn’t have a lot of bags, but we managed! We would honestly come and stay here again. Watching the boats from the top window was so peaceful!

We had such a fantastic stay here – probably our favourite Devon spot to date – the kids loved staying at The Hen House, being right on the farm and being greeted by the sheep and getting to see the calves. The space was perfect for us with 3 kids, very comfortable, spacious and spotlessly clean. Really lovely lodge with great hot tub. Dartmouth is a lovely village 5-10 mins drive away. Highly recommend – we had a great time.

We absolutely loved the Captains Cabin! We would definitely stay again. It was so quirky and the views were fantastic from the balcony! Paul was really responsive every time we pinged a message over… couldn’t fault him at all. We will and already have recommended the Captains Cabin to our friends and family!
