Fabulous location and ideal base to explore it from. Facilities were good and the house was clean and comfortable. The Host was contactable, accommodating and responsive. Would thoroughly recommend whether for multiple guests or just as a getaway for a couple.

A beautiful place in lovely surroundings, very spacious and good instructions. There are lots of very narrow lanes around the area so be prepared for lots of reversing!

Perfect location with great view over the river. Comfortable sofas and beds. Easy reach of South Coast path, ferry, station, pubs and local shop. We were extremely happy with our booking. The home was fantastic, clean, comfortable, well equipped and had a beautiful garden and sun terrace. No complaints from us at all. Good walking access to Kingsbridge, although up hill on the way back. The only thing I would say is the split level layout inside may be an issue to those with mobility issues. We loved it here and would love to come back.

Excellent value for money for a short break to our mum’s birthplace Devon. Lodge was very comfortable with everything you need. Fab views and peaceful setting. Great selection of restaurants in Dartmouth. Would recommend Rockfish for fresh seafood and trips to both Blackpool and Slapton Sands which was the location of the tragic Exercise Tiger practice for D-Day landings. “Fabulous little ‘find’ in the heart of Dartmouth above a wonderful cafe serving incredible breakfasts! The room was clean & functional with seaside memorabilia, paintings & a comfy king size bed & the coffee & tea making facilities were a pleasing extra!
