“We loved the Hen House and it was spotless. It was perfect for our family of 4 and would easily and comfortably host 3 kids with parents. We had amazing weather and spent several days at Bantham Beach, a day at Start Point and a day at Woodlands theme park. Last minute get away booked. Lovely area, cottage was lovely & great location to harbour. Host very helpful with a link to a guide to local places. Cottage was a little hard to find, but once we parked up we found it on foot then moved car after. Managed to park at back of cottage. Lovely stay. Thanks

This was a magical short break for our extended family. A beautiful house set in magnificent grounds which the photos really don’t do justice. The five children in our group all loved discovering the hidden garden and the pathways surrounding the property. All rooms were tastefully decorated, large and many, especially the big conservatory, with its wide opening doors, have superb views of the South Hams hillsides. …

We absolutely love the Rivershack and have stayed several times in the past. The location is amazing, right on the river. We swam everyday when the tide was in. The shack is small but has everything you need, from a utility area for wetsuits and muddy boots, a hot shower as well as a free standing bath, really comfortable beds and a well equipped kitchen.
