The Brambles was a nice residence for me in Devon. Paul and wife were at hand to help with any issues. The place is well kept. They showed me the local Tesco for food and pointed me to the bus service in the area saving me transport money. I highly recommend their place to others visiting this part of Devon. They offered me a complimentary bottle of wine which was really nice during the weekend. William

We had a lovely week i n Lower Deck. It is a short stroll down into the town and a longer walk in the opposite direction to the castle and round the headland. We loved waking up to the views across the water and we managed the whole week without using our car, taking ferries and buses to visit Totnes, Brixham and Agatha Christie’s house, Greenway. Dartmouth has a lot of independent shops to indulge in and we ate out…

Our second time at Mewstone. New owner has kept the same high standards. Absolutely fantastic location and such a restful view. One piece of advice, if the shared pool is important to you (it wasn’t to us) check it’s available and ready. That said this is a high quality property and we love it. Two parking spaces and no more than a couple of minutes walk into Dartmouth town centre what’s not to love.

Great views. Well equipped. Comfy beds. Downside it’s on 4 floors with spiral stairs. Only 1 bedroom en-suite so the others tend to share 1 bathroom not ideal with 8 adults in the house. Water pressure not great. Needs black out curtains as rooms light at 5. Long trek to the kitchen from the road. Very narrow to get to the property. But we did have a good time.

“Great location about 10 mins walk to centre of town with free parking. Very spacious house very clean and tidy and very nice welcome basket with M&S products. Relaxing terrace area to rear although quite a few steps up to reach but super views. Also a nice little seating area in the front garden just outside the house”.

The location is quite unique and looking onto the sea is very special. Even more special is the close proximity to the sea, so you can go to bed listening to the waves and wake up to them. Gorgeous

The most beautiful property! The view from house was spectacular, the whole house was decorated beautifully. You couldn’t find a better spot up the River Dart to watch the boats go by and the sun rise. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

A fantastic stay. Beautiful views. Immaculate inside, and the Christmas Tree on arrival really made it special. Use of facilities such as the pool, kept the children busy. It was easy to find with lots to do around the area within driving distance. Would definitely return as ideal base to explore the area. Thank you.
