“This is a characterful, quaint studio apartment, at the very top of a house right in the heart of Dartmouth, above a bustling and delicious café. The views across the estuary are unrivalled. The furnishings are characterful, the kitchen basic but does the job for a simple meal and ideal for a sunset drink and nibbles on the little balcony which is in the best possible place”.

Wow. What a very special place this is. For a start it’s in a brilliant position overlooking the river in lovely Dartmouth. We had the best time at this place. It was exactly as described. Beautiful views, no issues. We had been to dartmouth before and was familiar with the area. The apartment is placed in a great location, short walk into town and parking was fine. Great pubs and restaurants within a short walk and beautiful beaches within a short drive. Will definitely stay again!

We felt immediately at home; there was a bottle of wine, colouring sheets for the kids, and loads of local info. The location was stunning and the cabin was so cosy and warm. All 5 of us really loved our stay – thank you

We had an excellent stay, only a minute to walk to the beach we enjoyed swimming in the sea every day. We loved the back garden with a BBQ, lots of comfortable seating and perfect sea view. Would definitely recommend and we would love to stay again.

Just back from a fantastic three nights at the place. The location of the house is fabulous, just 1-2 minutes walk from the beach. It felt very homely and comfortably sleeps 8 Breakfast on the balcony overlooking the sea and beach was sublime. “Absolutely amazing place – such a unique and beautiful place to stay. The Captain’s Cabin exceeded our expectations. The bonus was being able to go downstairs into Alf-Rescos cafe and have wonderful breakfasts from 7am – which meant we could set off early on our walks. I’d really recommend this place.
