We couldn’t have picked a better place to celebrate a really special stay in Dartmouth. Our son was passing out from Britannia Naval College and it was my wife’s 60th Birthday. The house was perfect. Amazing location just above the town with views over the river from every beautifully decorated room. With accommodation on four levels each one of which has wonderful views over the harbour it is a fabulous place to spend time. We had a lovely week at the lodge.Spacious and very clean. Relly enjoyed relaxing in the grounds and using the hot tub. Very well equipped with everything you might need and a perfect location to explore the local area. Highly reccomended.

A return visit for us as a family of four. Beautiful location and very close to Dartmouth and a short drive to Salcombe. Set on a golf course it was a perfect spot for golf, sun, sea and amenities. Paul was a great host and was very prompt to answer/resolve queries. Will definitely be returning to this little haven.

The accommodation has been well thought through, absolutely everything you need is to hand, the kitchen is so well stocked with utensils it puts mine to shame!

Lovely views, particularly liked the small roof top terrace. Well thought out accommodation with everything you need. Bedrooms are small with no wardrobe space in main bedroom. Space would be tight for 4 adults but a great place, with great views to stay for a couple. Steps to property are steep.

Heywood was a lovely, comfortable and homely place to stay. Ideally situated in the center of Dartmouth so everything was easily accessible. The parking permit for the local car park was extremely useful. Comfortable bed, good shower and a nice homely environment. We shall be back.
