We loved our stay at Pear Tree Lodge. The house has a bright open feel, a slightly unique layout on two levels (there are a few stairs to the bedrooms) which I loved, large bright rooms and had everything we needed for our stay. There is a local coffee shop, chip shop restaurant/ takeaway. The nearby farm shop was a great find. This home in a beautiful location was just perfect to explore surrounding south Devon coastal walks and beaches”.

Fantastic cottage right on the beach where you are able to watch the sunrise before braving the sea. The location is great with a good pub close by and restaurants as well as a very good farm shop which its possible to walk to. The cottage itself has everything you need with a fabulous view. Great location! Lovely and spacious apartment. The kitchen was a bit cramped with five people at the table. The living room was spacious and comfortable with a lovely view and evening sun. The ferry to Dartmouth is very close and runs very frequently (7am-11pm). We took the Round Robin ferry to Totnes, a lovely trip. Totnes itself was very nice, and we visited the castle.
