Pear Tree Lodge was so homely, with a stunning garden, peaceful and with comfy beds. It’s in a quiet location but very walkable and close to the estuary and Kingsbridge. The South Hams are stunning 🏝️ A little gem of a place. 💎

The property was as described and well equipped. Parking was excellent and under a canopy so out of reach of seagulls! We are very familiar with Kingsbridge which is good and central and has 2 supermarkets if not planning to eat out every day. In all we would certainly recommend it and plan to stay again in the future.

Just finished a weekend with friends in Devon. The house was very clean and tidy with all the amenities you could ever need. Fantastic location, very quiet and tranquil, plenty of great parking and very secure. Would 100% stay again!!

This was a magical short break for our extended family. A beautiful house set in magnificent grounds which the photos really don’t do justice. The five children in our group all loved discovering the hidden garden and the pathways surrounding the property. All rooms were tastefully decorated, large and many, especially the big conservatory, with its wide opening doors, have superb views of the South Hams hillsides. …

Incredible views. Steps to the beach are a stones throw away, it was the perfect location for our beach and sea loving family. We will be back without the kids next time!

We had the best time staying at higher venice, the farmhouse was beautiful and perfect for our big family Christmas, the house was so lovely and warm, the rooms were very big and clean and tidy, the grounds were beautiful, we would definitely love to come back in the summer to enjoy the beautiful settings.Thank you for a lovely break away for Christmas.

Tucked away on the edge of the estuary with the high tide bringing the river right up to the back french doors. Very cosy, clean and comfortable with everything we needed including wood for the fire. We had a wonderful stay in this particularly special location.

A very comfortable and spotlessly clean apartment right in the centre of Dartmouth. Two bathrooms which was a bonus and a responsive host. Parking was available on the road outside the apartment.
