The upstairs has views of the hills and my partner loved sitting out on the little balcony and watching the night sky. We were there in hot weather. It worked for us since we were out during the day. It was easy to cool the top floor in the evenings by opening up all of the windows. The bedroom downstairs was always cool enough to sleep well.

We booked this place for a family pre Xmas stay and were not disappointed in any way. The house is as described, but better in the reality. It felt like a home from home, spacious, warm, perfect;y clean, and the high quality and comfortable furnishings were appreciated by all. Lovely location by the river and an easy walk to Dartmouth. Very, very good.

We had a super time in The Apartment, Newcomen Road. The place was spotlessly clean and had everything we wanted and more. It is really conveniently located for the town of Dartmouth, including a walk to the castle. The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was very well equipped. We are grateful to Tracey for her communication. We hope to return as this apartment is a great find and we frequently visit Dartmouth.

Beautifully appointed and very comfortable house. A few snags such as missing blinds in two bedrooms and only one wine glass provided (which we advised host of and they said they would sort so hopefully ready for next guests). We would recommend ear plugs for light sleepers as there is a clock tower in the village which rings every 15minutes 24hrs a day. Host was very responsive and brought us torches when we had a …

The instructions to getting to and into the house were straightforward and easy to follow. The turn into the drive from the main road is very tight but our estate made it ok. The house is beautiful inside with plenty of space in the living areas and kitchen, which has everything you need. Great apartment in a lovely location. Lovely walks along the coast. Very dog friendly. Really nice swimming off the beach. Good food and drink at the pub in Torcross as well as the pub and beach cafe in Beesands.

We very much enjoyed staying here. Kingswear is quieter than Dartmouth itself and has all you need (in terms of a couple of great pubs, lovely coffee place, a very useful convenience shop) – though you will end up spending some cash going back and forth across the Dart using the ferry.
