Excellent location in the centre of town. 2 mins to the harbour, no steep hills. Lovely rooms, large opening windows. Very clean. Breakfast was the best we have ever had. Great host, very responsive. Quiet road. Mattress could have been abit more sopportive but overall was excellent. Had a great time

We have just spent the most wonderful long weekend at Steppes. It is the most wonderful house with an amazing view which was perfect for a big family get together. Coffee on the deck in the morning sunshine, looking at everything going on in the harbour and the view out to see was just incredible. Thank you for letting us enjoy this wonderful house.

Stunning property. Super warm. Hot tub very well maintained with daily checks. Lovely views. Small construction site nearby wasn’t a problem at all. Very responsive host. Great facilities but make sure you book spa well in advance!

Lovely house in a stunning location, very walkable into Dartmouth. Once we caught the ferry from towards the castle to Dartmouth for a bit of fun. House is beautiful and very modern. Paul was extremely proactive and managed sort out an issue we had quickly.

This place was better than we expected and was very well prepared for our group that also had young children. The views are absolutely amazing and it is just a short stroll into the town. We would definitely return.

A great location with fantastic sea views. We didn’t have the weather for it but the rear garden and bar would be great in the warmer weather. The house was clean and well equipped, comfortable and homely.

The place is really comfortable and has plenty of space! The beds are comfortable and showers hot, and the kitchen fully equipped. The lounge is a lovely place to relax, and the view is breathtaking. The ferry for Dartmouth is a few minutes walk away, as are two lovely pubs! Walk to The Ship inn for a sing along to some sea shanties on a Thursday evening. We came for a much needed break and Lower Heywood was the perfect place to relax and unwind. We loved the roll top bath, powerful shower and the kitchen had everything you could possibly need. The food festival was a bonus for a wonderful town that has a special place in our hearts as we got engaged here 32 years ago.
